Certainly the groom will look most dashing standing a jacket, but with arms raised this might be a little constrictive for dancing.
We recommend the groom removing the jacket for the wedding dance. A tie and vest looks very smart and allows the groom to raise his arm - very important when the bride is dancing twirls and crossovers.
